The Sulky Holoshimmer thread comes in 24 brilliant solid and multi colors. This thread is a metallic thread and does require at 14/90 metallic needle, topestitch needle or Embroidery needle. It is a ribbon like thin and flat polyester film that is covered with an aluminum holographic layer to give it a shimmery reflection.
When using any metallic be sure to have the right needle, ALWAYS sew slower and use a vertical spool pin. Sulky Holoshimmer is slightly stretchy. It is best to use a soft stabilizer to properly stabilize your fabric.
Always lower your tension and and use a lightweight thread in the bobbin like Sulky's bobbin thread or Sulky's invisible thread.
